Apple-Pear Wine

60% - 40%

From the slopes of Turtleback Mountain

Turtleback Mountain on Orcas Island is home to a historic orchard of King apples and Bosc pears. Additional fruit comes from 100-year-old trees on Lopez. All these trees are un-sprayed, pruned carefully and are farmed to organic standards. We personally harvest this fruit for production of our Apple-Pear wine, selecting fruit carefully for a balance of flavor and acidity. We blend this harvest at 60% apple and 40% pear to produce a dry wine with more complexity than either fruit alone.

Our Apple-Pear wine is a summer treat: dry and crisp, with refreshing fruit character. Well chilled, it matches picnic fare, fruit and cheeses, or try this wine as an aperitif before your summer barbeque.
